Molly & Jason were married at 360º East at Montauk Downs. The couple live in NYC and met in high school, at art class. They celebrated their new marriage with family and many mutual friends on a stormy island day.
Mark and I got the chance to photograph together, something we rarely are able to do. The trek to and from Montauk took us on 4 ferries there and 4 ferries back. We stayed at the Montauk Manor, all decked out for Halloween, which has an interesting history involving a wealthy developer in the 1920s who lost his shirt in the Great Depression, but not before building on land that was the site of a Native American fort and battle some 300 years prior. Though it rained heavily Saturday for the wedding, we got to see a quick glimpse of the Montauk Lighthouse, on the eastern most point of Long Island, at ‘the end of the world’ 10 minutes before sunset Friday night.
Molly and Jason’s wedding ceremony and reception both took place inside, upstairs at 360º East at the golf club. Though we normally stay on Nantucket for weddings, we couldn’t say no when asked by Molly’s mother to document the day- she’s only an actual legend photographer, Deborah Feingold. Molly has assisted her mother behind the camera, but on her wedding day it was time to be the star. She was absolutely glowing in her bridal gown, and Jason was all smiles. After dinner, the Emerald Society Pipes and Drums, bagpipers and drummers composed of retired and current NYC firefighters, performed for the guests. Molly’s father is a retired lieutenant in the New York Fire Department and was a first responder on 9/11/01. It was very touching to watch them play, feel the pride and the love.
This was the perfect way to spend our last wedding weekend of the season. Thank you for having us, Molly and Jason. We hope to see you on Nantucket soon! xo

Eliza & Taylor’s journey to the altar was delayed due to the pandemic, but certainly worth the wait! Eliza’s mother, Laura, reached out in early 2019 to let me in on surprise proposal plans that Taylor had while the couple was hiking in Spain. She said yes, and a few months later I got to […]
Jen & Mick were married at the Siasconset Union Chapel with their reception following at the Chanticleer restaurant. Jen grew up coming to Nantucket every summer with her parents and sisters, and Mick grew up visiting nearby on the Cape. Mick proposed in Ocean Beach, California just about a year ago by sneaking a ring […]
There is something wild going on with the hydrangeas on Nantucket this summer- they are just so lush! Katie & Phil took a break from wedding planning to have some engagement photos taken on the most gorgeous July evening. A wonderful couple who is game for anything and that sweet golden hour light made for […]

The couple’s first vacation together was to Nantucket, so it was just the perfect place to plan their August wedding. With the help of Maggie from Nantucket Island Events, they put together a stunning wedding […]
It felt a little bit like fall for Annie & Larry’s ‘Sconset wedding last weekend and no one was complaining about it. It’s been a hot and humid summer and we are all looking forward to the cooler, dryer feel of September…and of course, weddings! Annie & Larry kicked off my September wedding season with […]

For Caroline, the wedding day began at her family home in downtown Nantucket- a former whaling captain’s home once owned by the Macy family, one of the original founders of the island.
