Meredith & Sean were married at the Siasconset Chapel, with a dinner reception following at his cousin’s waterfront Wauwinet home. It was sweet little wedding, with only their nearest and dearest in attendance, making for a very intimate celebration full of love. Their siblings and best friends were in the wedding party, and Sean’s nieces made for adorable flower girls.
I’ve known Meredith and her family for over 6 years and was so thrilled to hear of her engagement to Sean, who I’ve heard great things about. But to see them on their wedding day, so happy and carefree, was a treat. Weddings can be quite stressful and chaotic, but this day was nothing but smiles.
Their wedding day marked Meredith’s mother Linda’s birthday, and this year Meredith’s grandparents celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary. Their advice? Hug and kiss often. Just hug and kiss often. I love it.
Though they are now in Boston, Meredith and Sean chose Nantucket to get married. The couple has strong ties to the island, both visiting often, and having lived and also met here. After a beautiful ceremony at the Chapel, incredible weather for some portraits around Sconset, we drove off to Wauwinet. Their reception dinner took place under a tent on the beach side, while the harbor could be seen from the front of the house. An amazing location!

It felt a little bit like fall for Annie & Larry’s ‘Sconset wedding last weekend and no one was complaining about it.
