Nantucket Wedding at Sconset Chapel & Sankaty Golf Club, Marykate & Patrick

Marykate & Patrick were married at the Siasconset Chapel with their reception following at the Sankaty Golf Club. MK’s grandparents started the family’s love for Nantucket when they honeymooned on the island. Their 7 children summered here making many amazing memories. MK, all her cousins and siblings, also summered on island and had fun jobs like selling penny candy and working at Pinwheels. Nantucket is home away from home for MK and her extended family, so it was just the ideal location for their fall wedding.
Everyone went with the flow as the weather turned on us and the rain came down. But as the skies above us always do, it cleared up just enough for us to grab a few photos in front of the iconic Sankaty Lighthouse. Fall is the best time of the year on island for those who like a break from the crowds and a more intimate feel. The ambiance of a quintessential Grey Lady day made a really special backdrop for the stylish black tie wedding.
