Julia & Matt are getting married this fall on Nantucket. Matt’s proposal was pretty epic. He’s an avid skiier having grown up in Utah, and in true Utah form he proposed on top of the mountain in front of a cozy fireplace. Julia doesn’t remember much apart from the smell of fondue and a new sparkly thing on her finger, but after their date on top of the mountain, Matt made her ski down in the dark with only a headlamp for company. Matt remarked that if she had taken the snow cat down and not ski, that he just might have taken the ring back!

Our associate Kristen took the couple out to Brant Point and Steps Beach for their engagement photos on a beautiful late summer evening, where they popped a bottle of bubbly, played in the dunes and strolled on the beach at sunset. A far cry from the snowy peaks where it all began.
