Caroline & Colin were married in the Chanticleer garden with their reception following at the Siasconset Casino.
Their story began in third grade when Caroline and Colin became classmates, by seventh grade they were best friends, and a year later he kissed her. Fast forward to high school, when Caroline was 17 years old and the couple finally fell in love. That same year, Caroline’s oldest sister, Emily, got married and I was lucky enough to photograph her wedding and get close to their family. Over the years, I’ve watched the family grow, and watched my friend Caroline blossom into a talented wedding planner and start her company, Milly and Grace Weddings.
It was 2016 when Colin proposed to Caroline on Galley Beach, with Mark there to document the amazing moment and Caroline’s emotional reaction. It’s been a ride ever since, with postponements due to the pandemic, and reimagining the perfect day more than a few times, but Caroline and Colin ended up with more than perfect. Incorporating lilacs and dogwoods into their decor which are very special to both of them, flying out her dream floral designer, including their favorite vendors… they had not only a gorgeous setting and amazing weather, but their friends and family surrounding them to share the love and I couldn’t be happier for them to start their lives as husband and wife!
