Callan & Tom had a big September wedding planned, but the pandemic put a wrench in their plans. In order to keep their original wedding weekend and simply downsize, the couple decided to include only family and sail aboard a boat in the Nantucket harbor for their official nuptials. Their fantastic reimagined wedding started at the court house and ended at Callan’s family’s summer home. In between, as they rounded Brant Point Lighthouse, family watched on as Tom’s brother in law officiated over their vows. I was lucky enough to get a lift from one of their family friends and documented the wedding from nearby.
Callan worked with Over The Moon’s styling team to choose the perfect Markarian dress and Adelaide Harris Jewels pearl earrings. Along with the incredible talent of Maggie Stewart Events, RJ Miller Salon, and Flowers on Chestnut, Island Kitchen, Placesetters, and Nantucket Bake Shop their day was truly carefree.
A bigger wedding is on the horizon in May at St Barth’s, but I’m so glad that Callan and Tom didn’t cancel their original date. They are a perfect example of how to pivot and make your micro wedding super special.
As seen in Over the Moon, and the cover of Quest Magazine’s wedding issue.
