Jaclyn and Peter met while working together at Deutsche Bank and without getting too mushy about it, they fell in love. Since his brother has a house here, and he’s been vacationing for 10 years, Peter also bought a house on Nantucket a couple years ago where the couple loves to visit. He proposed to Jackie here on island at Madaket Beach last fall.
After meeting and photographing Jaclyn and Peter’s engagement session last month, I just knew they would have a fun wedding and look completely amazing. I underestimated them! Not only were they absolutely stunning on their wedding day Saturday, but they kept up their sweet, silly, laid back attitude on what could possibly be a stressful day in many couple’s lives.
Jackie was flawless in her Monique cap sleeved gown, and Peter was totally handsome. They exchanged vows in a wedding ceremony at St Mary’s Church with their vibrant reception at the Great Harbor Yacht Club. Something that stood out very much for me all day, was the love of their family who obviously raised these two right.
Corals and pinks were like delicious eye candy, especially the beautiful peonies, roses and dahlias on the tables from Soiree Floral who also kept the girls’ bouquets simple with white calla lilies and orchids. First Class Band with Concetta were crazy good as they kept everyone on their feet, dancing and even signing with them. All in all, Jackie and Peter’s wedding was one for the books, and as everyone can see – I had an impossible time whittling down this post to a not so obscene number of images, but I couldn’t help myself!
