After a few weddings where the weather gods had been less than kind to our brides, we were gifted with the most wonderful cloudless Saturday a bride and her groom could ask for. I’d go as far as to say it was a perfect day for their beach wedding at The Galley.
With an afternoon ceremony beckoning, we took advantage of the wonderful weather, starting with a heartfelt and teary first look at the family home, we then walked around ‘Sconset for a short while to find some nice light.
At the Galley, the guys were looking sharp in their light J.Crew suits and the girls matched the beach feel in their turquoise Swoon dresses. Their son, Oliver, delivered the rings with the Mother of the Bride the best way an almost 2 year old can, cautious at first, then in the arms of Grandma! Sarah was beaming and beautiful as her Dad walked her proudly down the aisle.
We took Sarah and John for a few more pictures after the ceremony and sneaked out around sunset for a few more. The great thing about the Galley is being just a step away from picturesque portraits. After some touching speeches, The Perry Rossi Band kept everyone movin’ and shakin’ until the end of the night.
Congrats and good luck, Sarah, John and Oliver!

It felt a little bit like fall for Annie & Larry’s ‘Sconset wedding last weekend and no one was complaining about it. It’s been a hot and humid summer and we are all looking forward to the cooler, dryer feel of September…and of course, weddings! Annie & Larry kicked off my September wedding season with […]
