Carly & Jayce were married at the Unitarian Church, with their reception following at the Great Harbor Yacht Club. This was exactly the original plan, as the weather took a turn for the turbulent and their outside ceremony was moved in. While Hurricane Matthew was devastating the southeast coast of the US, we got just a taste of the storm here on Nantucket with incredible winds and pouring rain. That saying about rain being good luck on your wedding day – well this couple will have good luck for the rest of their lives.

The instant connection between Carly and Jayce was music. He’s an orchestral conductor and she’s an architect with an amazing voice of her own. Music was also prevalent on their wedding day. Fellow musicians and friends, Rohan Mandelia and Daniel Pereiram, serenaded guests throughout the ceremony. Everyone also joined in to a singalong of Stand By Me after the couple’s vows. During their reception, Carly took the mic and sang Madonna’s Just Like a Prayer while Jeff Ross and the Atlantics played for her.

Even though the wind sounded like angry banshees and waves splashed guests as they were entering into the Club, everyone enjoyed the day and evening with a great sense of humor and didn’t let it dampen their spirits.
