Sue & Dana were married on a beautiful, foggy Nantucket day at Sankaty Lighthouse. Their goal was to have a fun event for their friends and families, by keeping it casual and then celebrating at Cisco Brewery. I would say Mission Accomplished! Forgoing many of the usual wedding traditions, Sue and Dana made this day their own, one of a kind. The fog rolled in as Sue, in her blush gown, was walked down by her son to join Dana and their friends by a gorgeous patch of daffodils.
Dana’s sister in law, who re-introduced the pair after having gone to high school together, officiated the ceremony. Though Dana nearly broke down into tears, he kept his cool.
As the fog started to lift, I took Sue and Dana to a few spots to make use of the springtime blooms in Sconset, and then we were off to toast the couple at Cisco. A great time was had by all, and I’m so happy they chose me to document the joining of their families!
