Caitlin & Dan were married at the Siasconset Union Chapel with their reception following at the Nantucket Golf Club.

The couple’s first date was at the Park Avenue Tavern in New York City and they talked straight through for 6 hours. Fast forward 2 years, Danny brought Caitlin back to the median on Park Avenue right outside of the Park Avenue Tavern and proposed where they first met. Then he led her down the street to have a “celebratory drink” but when they walked into the restaurant, it was actually a SURPRISE 30th birthday party for Caitlin! No one at the party knew that they had just gotten engaged (except for their moms) and it turned into a surprise for everyone else as well. They started planning their Nantucket wedding soon after that exciting and memorable day.

In the bride’s own words:
‘The hashtag is #caitlinlovesdantucket because I love both Dan and Nantucket so dearly. I have lived on the island every summer since I was a baby and it is my true happy place! Nantucket has been so special because it has been my place of many “firsts”. Nantucket was where I first went to camp, got my first job, had my first kiss, drove my first car, fell in love for the first time, went to my first party, saw my first whale and many more firsts! It will always be a place that will have such a special connection to my heart and thankfully Danny shares a similar love for the island as well. We hope to bring our kids back here for many summers to come and hopefully for many of their firsts!’

The June wedding day was absolutely gorgeous, and we even got some of that quintessential Nantucket fog that we all love. Caitlin and Dan were beaming all day, and danced into the night!
