Nantucket has been in Alex’s family for many generations. Her grandparents started coming before her mom was born, her mom has spent summer here every year of her life, as has Alex. Her mom grew up in the house between the Nantucket Yacht Club and Children’s Beach. Her parents even got married at the Nantucket Yacht Club… so there’s a lot of family history in the area! Jack proposed over Labor Day at the barn on Sanford Farm. It’s where Alex runs every day when she’s on island and he wanted her to be able to relive the moment every time she ran by. SUPER sweet.

The couple threw a long weekend of fun events including an official wedding ceremony for family at the Sconset Chapel on Thursday, then portraits of the couple at Sankaty Head Lighthouse. The next evening, they had a rehearsal dinner at the Great Harbor Yacht Club, complete with hilarious speeches by those near and dear.

Saturday was the big wedding day at the Nantucket Yacht Club with nearly 300 guests. Jack and his groomsmen came over on the water launch to greet everyone on the lawn overlooking Nantucket harbor for their ceremony, followed by a golf themed dinner under the tent and a dance party inside!
