Erica & Fernando were married at the Siasconset Chapel with their reception following at Sankaty Head Golf Club. The night before, they held a fun welcome party at the Dreamland Theater.
Erica, (a gorgeous buyer for Ralph Lauren), and Fernando, (a tall, dark and handsome Brazilian accountant), met at a NYC bar. Fast forward to the engagement that Fernando had planned over July 4th last year. Family and friends were hidden all over the island, waiting to celebrate after he popped the question. Unfortunately, Hurricane Arthur delayed their Nantucket travel plans countless times in just 12 hours. Instead of the romantic beach proposal he had hoped for, Fernando took the one chance he had and asked Erica to marry him just before guests were arriving to congratulate them. How sweet that they had the love and support of so many people even before the proposal! All’s well that ends in a fabulous wedding, I say!
The wedding day was perfect. The couples’ family and friends are so warm and fun. Everyone really just had a great time. Jimmy Jaksic was on hand to make sure the timeline flowed flawlessly, his specialty. Beantown had the dance floor literally bouncing, literally. And the party continued into the night at the Rose and Crown!

Jen & Mick were married at the Siasconset Union Chapel with their reception following at the Chanticleer restaurant. Jen grew up coming to Nantucket every summer with her parents and sisters, and Mick grew up visiting nearby on the Cape. Mick proposed in Ocean Beach, California just about a year ago by sneaking a ring […]

Katie & Phil took a break from wedding planning to have some engagement photos taken on the most gorgeous July evening. A wonderful couple who is game for anything and that sweet golden hour light made for […]

The couple’s first vacation together was to Nantucket, so it was just the perfect place to plan their August wedding. With the help of Maggie from Nantucket Island Events, they put together a stunning wedding […]
It felt a little bit like fall for Annie & Larry’s ‘Sconset wedding last weekend and no one was complaining about it. It’s been a hot and humid summer and we are all looking forward to the cooler, dryer feel of September…and of course, weddings! Annie & Larry kicked off my September wedding season with […]
