Over thirteen years ago, in New York City, Lisa & Steven were introduced through his neighbor who happened to be Lisa’s good friend Jeanine. Jeanine said, “if you don’t like the dog it’s not going work”. The rest is history. :)

The couple has been visiting the island every August since 2009 with their basset hound, Bowser. Their fondest memories of Nantucket have been eating at the Summer House and Toppers, listening to music at Cisco Brewers, riding bikes up to the lighthouses and throughout the island, watching the sunsets at Madaket, dining in town especially at Proprietors, exploring the beautiful beaches and grilling.

After many years on the island, they agreed that Sconset would be a great place to spend more and more time and possibly retire- so they built a home there! They’d also decided Nantucket would be the most special place to share their love for one another and to get married. George, now their second basset, approves.
