Reva & Zach were married by Rabbi Gary at his parents’ home on Nantucket harbor, under a colorful chuppah which included Reva’s grandmother’s sari, Reva’s grandfather’s ring, and Zach’s Bar Mitzvah tallit woven into it.
They got engaged exactly where we are getting married – on the beach outside the home on Hulbert. Coming full circle!
Zach has been coming to the island every summer his entire life and considers it his “happy place.” After Reva met Zach, over 10 years ago when they were attending Harvard, she joined Zach on his vacations and fell in love with Nantucket as well. They spent a lot of time on the island during COVID and want to keep coming back forever.
According to the couple, the best part of wedding planning was working with Rabbi Gary to learn more about a Jewish wedding and a Jewish marriage. A stunning wedding in India followed 6 months later.
