Brittany and Aaron were married in an outdoor Jewish ceremony, at a private home in Tom Nevers overlooking the ocean. The couple lives in Toronto, but met in Montreal, have traveled all over, lived in New York and Paris, and vacation on Nantucket. Jealous yet?! Aaron’s parents honeymooned on Nantucket, and Brittany began joining the family out here just a few summers ago. The couple describes the island as a magical place and the perfect destination to get married.
Brittany, the social media manager at Canada’s high end department store Holt Renfrew, obviously has amazing fashion sense. She wore a dress by Canadian designer Wayne Clark and not your average Manolo Blahnik cuff heels. Amazing. The groomsmen looked put together in all matching Nantucket Red pants, yet casual sans ties or boutonnieres. Aaron even loosened up and went with a more comfortable look after the ceremony. Everyone looked amazing. But it has to be said – Canadians are the nicest people. Good looks aside, this wedding was full of the sweetest people you’d ever want to spend a day and evening with.
The wedding was a stunning one, with a rustic French garden feel to the reception decor. Burlap table runners, aged wood tables, and a rainbow of colors for the flowers and J.Crew bridesmaids dresses, made the look and feel of the wedding very inviting. The setting, 124 Tom Nevers, is right on the bluff with a perfect view of the beach and sunset. We saw a big lightning storm passing us by to the north, but with a little luck, it just made for a big dramatic sky.

It felt a little bit like fall for Annie & Larry’s ‘Sconset wedding last weekend and no one was complaining about it.
