It was Caroline’s birthday, and her family had gathered at the Galley Beach to celebrate. Little did she know that her boyfriend Colin, (whom she’s known since 8th grade!), had planned to propose, and that her sister Emily had secretly enlisted us to capture the event. Tears were flowing as he got down on one knee, and she said yes.
It’s not always easy blending in when you have a big camera with a long lens attached on an empty beach, especially when the one being proposed to is your friend. But I think I pulled it off!
Caroline is a Milly and Grace girl. Her sister Emily owns the sweet boutique in downtown Nantucket, that carries contemporary jewelry, gifts, home accessories and clothes, such as the flowy dress Caroline wore.
