Emma & Ryan were married at the First Congregational Church with their reception following at the Sankaty Head Golf Club.

Emma has been coming to nantucket her whole life, and got ready for the big day at her parents’ home. The day, during the busiest wedding weekend of the year, started off with downpours, thunder and lightning. But the moment we made our way out the door into her father’s Land Cruiser, the rain let up and it became a beautiful grey lady day.

The couple met on spring break from Cornell in Cabo. After 5 years together, much at a long distance, Ryan proposed on a boat near their home on the St Laurence River.

Ryan’s family are dairy farmers and his grandparent’s bottled maple syrup from their own farm for the guests to take home. Boss Band played as they danced into the night.
