Danielle & David were married at the First Congregational Church with their reception following on a private property in Shawkemo.
The couple’s first vacation together was to Nantucket, so it was just the perfect place to plan their August wedding. With the help of Maggie from Nantucket Island Events, they put together a stunning wedding weekend which began at Straight Wharf Restaurant for a rehearsal dinner party on Friday night, and ended Sunday with wedding guests celebrating at Nobadeer beach.
Saturday was an A+ day with absolutely perfect weather. The First Congregational Church is one of our favorite ceremony venues because it’s big, bright and so pretty with a long path for the wedding couple to make their exit during a rose petal toss. The private property, Ducksholm, where their wedding tent was set up for the reception, is in Shawkemo which is a remote part of the island with a lot of privacy and incredible views of the harbor. It can’t be beat. Add classy florals by Flowers on Chestnut, touching toasts, a performance of Last Dance by Danielle’s sister Maddie, a fabulous band like Encore, and you’ve got an AMAZING wedding.
Danielle and David got to have both Mark and Zofia for their lead photographers, a rare treat. ;) We had a blast with them over the weekend and truly enjoyed documenting the big day for the sweetest couple and their families!
