CJ & Patrick pledged their love for each other at the First Congregational Church of Nantucket during a perfect September day. L.O.V.E. with a nautical twist was the theme and it was quite clear how much love these two have for each other. After the ceremony the couple and their guests rang in their love all the way from the church to the Nantucket Yacht Club, with little silver bells, as a trumpeter lead the procession. Once there, it was cocktails and light bites on the lawn overlooking beautiful Nantucket harbor. You can’t get more Nautical than a wedding at Nantucket Yacht club, as inside the theme continued, with nautical flags as escort cards, each guest had a polaroid picture taken to replace the flag. Hydrangeas and anchors, blue and white bow tie napkins, along with a mustache topped cake, decorated the inside of the reception room. Truly spectacular!
CJ & Patrick’s love and friendship shone through as they danced the night away, with Fever band rocking the house, while guest enjoyed donning silly hats for the photo booth, and leaving love notes on Jenga blocks!
Congratulations CJ & Patrick, thanks for letting us share your wonderful day!

Eliza & Taylor’s journey to the altar was delayed due to the pandemic, but certainly worth the wait! Eliza’s mother, Laura, reached out in early 2019 to let me in on surprise proposal plans that Taylor had while the couple was hiking in Spain. She said yes, and a few months later I got to […]
Jen & Mick were married at the Siasconset Union Chapel with their reception following at the Chanticleer restaurant. Jen grew up coming to Nantucket every summer with her parents and sisters, and Mick grew up visiting nearby on the Cape. There is something wild going on with the hydrangeas on Nantucket this summer- they are just so lush! Katie & Phil took a break from wedding planning to have some engagement photos taken on the most gorgeous July evening. A wonderful couple who is game for anything and that sweet golden hour light made for […]

The couple’s first vacation together was to Nantucket, so it was just the perfect place to plan their August wedding. With the help of Maggie from Nantucket Island Events, they put together a stunning wedding […]
It felt a little bit like fall for Annie & Larry’s ‘Sconset wedding last weekend and no one was complaining about it. It’s been a hot and humid summer and we are all looking forward to the cooler, dryer feel of September…and of course, weddings! Annie & Larry kicked off my September wedding season with […]

For Caroline, the wedding day began at her family home in downtown Nantucket- a former whaling captain’s home once owned by the Macy family, one of the original founders of the island.
