Moriah & Peter were married at the Siasconset Union Chapel with a reception following at the Nantucket Yacht Club.
Peter is in solar energy (go green!), and Moriah is a teacher. They met by chance at a bar in New York City. Despite being from the same hometown and spending copious amounts of time on Nantucket they hadn’t ever met until the fall of 2016. Peter proposed to Moriah at 40th pole over July 4th weekend of last year.
Now best friends, and surrounded by their closest family and friends, they exchanged vows presided by a long time friend of Moriah’s father. Her nieces and nephew were the flower girls and ring bearer, and just the cutest kids ever. Moriah’s family owns Donelan Wines and participate in the Nantucket Wine and Food Festival. They curate a wine for each member of their family, and Cuvée Moriah is a Grenache that was served at the reception.
We photographed Moriah’s brother Cush’s wedding to Caroline 7 years ago, and have also photographed their family over the years. We truly love having the honor of documenting families again and again.
