“Thomas and I met on the dance floor on the Jersey Shore Memorial Day weekend in 2018.  I caught Thomas’s eye because I was belting out every lyric to My Own Worst Enemy by Lit. We got to talking and immediately hit it off, not realizing at first that Thomas had come to the bar because he had grown up with one of my best friends (and now bridesmaids). We spend the rest of the weekend together, where we for some reason started joking that we should get married.  However, this was apparently NOT a joke to Thomas as he told a friends that weekend that he had met the girl he was going to marry.”

A fab start to a love story, if I’ve ever heard one! Mackenzie & Thomas were married at St. Mary’s Church, and their reception followed at the Galley. But it wasn’t that easy to get up to that altar… Thomas was in the hospital the morning of the wedding, with appendicitis! Poor guy could hardly stand, never mind walk without pain, but you’d hardly know it. Such a trooper, that he even managed to dance with his new bride!
