Momo & Dan were married in an outdoor ceremony at the White Elephant Hotel overlooking the harbor. Dan proposed to Momo at Sankaty Lighthouse, so Nantucket was a perfect location where to spend their wedding weekend.
Momo & Dan’s story is best told in their own words:
‘We both believe in the power of data and decided to try an online dating platform “Coffee Meets Bagel.” Thanks to the creators of a sweet algorithm, during Christmas while being 8120 miles apart, we were matched! Dan started with a “hey” and 896 messages later, we went on our first date on Dec. 29th.
On our first date, we were seated next to the “Shredder” in the Teenage Ninja Turtles movie (true story). Momo sipped on her peaty single malt scotch while Dan enjoyed his pink cocktail with a tropical flower (also true story). We fell in love over countless adventures together as partners in crime and best friends. We traveled to Napa, Maryland, Boston, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Beijing, Singapore, Vietnam, and ended our single lives with our engagement in Nantucket.’
The couple saw each other for the first time on their wedding day at Brant Point Lighthouse in front of their wedding party and parents. In honor of her grandmother, Momo wore a dress with a similar silhouette and beautiful train by Cocomelody. The look on Dan’s face when he turned around to see her at that moment proved that it was the perfect choice. You could truly feel the love for these two all day!
