Will decided to pop the question while in Laura’s hometown of Amery, Wisconsin over Easter weekend. Her parents home overlooks Lake Wapogasset. Being their favorite time of day, they always make a point to get up early and watch the sunrise together. While overlooking the lake enjoying the sunrise before any of Laura’s family was awake, Will got down on one knee and proposed! They were able to celebrate with Laura’s family all weekend and with Will’s family when they flew back to Nantucket.
For their engagement photos we had the perfect evening and beautiful light. Fall had begun already and there was a brisk feel to the air, it was such a perfect time to get out of town and enjoy the beauty of the island. I can’t wait to photograph this amazing couple again next fall!
