Kiki and Peter were married at the First Congregational Church with a reception following at the Nantucket Whaling Museum. Dawn at Soiree Floral described Kiki’s wedding style as luxe bohemian, and she nailed it. Only I’d add – glamourous. Kiki and Peter looked like something straight out of a movie. Maybe a little Marilyn Monroe meets James Bond. So gorgeous and so handsome.
The couple met in Zurich, Switzerland, where they both have familial roots and live. Kiki and her family have also lived on Nantucket for over 30 years. They are great friends with our very own Brian, who played double duty as a guest and my unofficial, sneak attack second shooter for the weekend. Matter of fact, Brian’s was the only camera of a guest that I remember seeing all day, since Kiki and Peter had an unplugged wedding! (yessssss, thank you, awesome, best news ever!)
Friends of the couple sang a song during the ceremony, and close friends of Kiki’s parents brought an Alphorn from Switzerland to surprise the couple with right after the ceremony. Apparently, it had to be broken down into a few pieces and explained to TSA on the way over. I can only imagine!

There is something wild going on with the hydrangeas on Nantucket this summer- they are just so lush! It felt a little bit like fall for Annie & Larry’s ‘Sconset wedding last weekend and no one was complaining about it. It’s been a hot and humid summer and we are all looking forward to the cooler, dryer feel of September…and of course, weddings! Annie & Larry kicked off my September wedding season with […]
